Tom Clayton, CEO and President at Bubble Motion, Inc.
Tom Clayton has started and run numerous high-tech startups. Now running Bubble Motion, a Sequoia Capital and SingTel Innov8 backed social media startup, Tom is leading the company through unprecedented user growth throughout Asia on its Bubbly voice blogging service. Prior to running Bubble Motion, Tom led the Worldwide Telecom Business at BEA Systems, an infrastructure software company acquired by Oracle for US$8.5B. At BEA, he built the Telecom Business from scratch to a $350M+ business – the largest vertical business for the company.
Before BEA, Tom helped start five different companies. At his most recent startup, Bang Networks, another high-profile Valley startup backed by Sequoia Capital, Goldman Sachs, Marc Andreessen, and Ron Conway, he helped build out the business development and salesforce organizations. Tom’s other startups ranged from an ecommerce-focused systems integrator, which was acquired during the dot-com boom, to a high-end consumer audio manufacturer. He also worked as an Economic Policy consultant to The White House, where he drafted the U.S. High-Tech and Telecommunications Economic Stimulus Policy for building out nationwide ubiquitous broadband access.
Tom holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated the top of his class as a Baker Scholar, while also doing graduate coursework at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Tom also has Bachelors of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley. Prior to Tom’s professional career, he was a boxer and won the Bronze Medal at the U.S. National Championships.

Leslie Loh graduated from Saint Mary’s University, Canada, in 1982 with a bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Information Technology. Mr Loh was the Founder and CEO of System Access since its inception in 1983. Mr Loh played a major role in leading System Access from being a one-man outfit to a publicly listed global banking software organization with 10 offices and 500 staff in Europe, Middle East and Asia. The company was acquired in 2006 by SunGard Data Systems INC, USA, a leading global financial services software provider.
Mr Loh was selected the winner of the 1998 ASME Rotary Entrepreneur of the Year in Singapore. In 1999, Mr Loh received the National Youth Award (Individual) for his success as an entrepreneur. In 2006, Leslie was awarded the “Person of The Year” IT Leader Award by the Singapore Computer Society. Since 2008, Mr Loh has been actively involved in investing and nurturing high-tech startups in Singapore and the region via his investment vehicles, Extream Ventures and Red Dot Ventures.

Tesong is the director and the chief e-commerce consultant at Rakuten Belanja Online, which saw the Japanese e-commerce site won the “Most Popular Online Shop Brand Award” in Indonesia Brand Champion 2012 organized by Marketeers.
Prior to Rakuten Indonesia, Tesong led the Rakuten Fashion Category Group which won him the CEO award for October 2008. Tesong graduated from IOWA US and the Waseda University in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He is also a black belt judo master.
Rudy Ramawy, Country Head of Google Indonesia
Rudy is the recently appointed Country Head of Google Indonesia. Prior to joining Google, Rudy was the Director of Programming and Production at RCTI, Indonesia’s leading television station, which he joined in 2008, first as Director of Sales and Marketing. Rudy started his career in 1994 with Procter & Gamble. In 1997, he was one of the key persons in the start-up team of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, where he was Director of Marketing and Sales. He was then appointed Managing Director of Warner Music Malaysia in 1999, based in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2003 he returned to Indonesia to lead Sony Music Entertainment as President Director of Indonesia, and also served as Regional Managing Director of South East Asia. In 2005, Rudy held the post of Director and Chief Marketing Officer at Natrindo Telepon Seluler (Axis), a mobile operator in Indonesia. Rudy holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Yazid Faizin, Co-founder and Ex-CCO at Adstars
Yazid is a veteran in sales industry, he has 10 years sales experience. Started with Kartuku (www.kartuku.co.id) in 2001, he then moved to Indonet, a company focusing on Internet services which later on bring him to his first digital advertising company, ADMAX NETWORK in 2007. This is where he met Pandu and in 2009, together they started a digital advertising company called Acquisition Digital.

Takahiro Suzuki, Head of CyberAgent Ventures Jakarta Office
After joining CyberAgent Inc. Suzuki was part of CyberBuzz Inc. where he helped the company established its media division and online ad sales. In 2005 Fritz co-founded China’s largest travel website, Qunar.com, and was the CEO up to August 2011. After eventually growing to become China’s largest travel portal with over 40 mln monthly users, a majority of Qunar was acquired by Baidu in August 2011. This transaction was one of the largest investment deals in the history of the Chinese media and internet space. Qunar means “where are you going?” in mandarin Chinese.
Fritz also co-founded and was the CEO of China’s biggest online sports media website, Shawei, which means “brave shark” in mandarin Chinese. Shawei was acquired by Hutchison Whampoa-affiliate Tom.com in 2000, and remains until today the most trafficked Chinese online sports media.
Additionally, Fritz held senior management positions at various online and traditional media companies in China including Netease, Hai Run Media Group, Titan Sports and News Corporation.
Fritz currently coordinates his investment and entrepreneurial activities through Queen’s Road Capital, a private equity firm focused on internet opportunities in global emerging markets.
A native of Los Angeles, Fritz was educated at UCLA, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Karls-Ruprecht University in Heidelberg. He has lectured on entrepreneurship and the Chinese internet at Stanford, Harvard, UCLA, Tsinghua, Beijing University, Singapore Management University and the Communist Party College in Nanjing.
Fritz resides in Hong Kong, is married to a native of Hong Kong and has a keenly curious and delightful young daughter.

Willson Cuaca, Investor at East Ventures
Willson Cuaca is an entrepreneur, early stage investor, and mentor. He has over 14 years of experience in IT industry in enterprise and consumer market. He has hands on experience in IT training, infrastructure design, product pre-sales and post-sales, product development, marketing, team building and IT company operation. Willson is recognized as one of Singapore’s 50 successful developers by Digital Life – The Straits Times Singapore (2009).
As Managing Partner of East Ventures — an early stage investment fund — Willson actively involves in building consumer web and mobile product to address potential consumer market in SEA region. East Ventures has invested in over 20 early stage startups in Singapore and Indonesia since year 2010. Willson is also mentoring entrepreneurs at East Ventures Alpha, a 100-days startup accelerator program in Jakarta.
He founded Apps Foundry, a startup developing digital newsstand – SCOOP, to help publishers monetize their printed content through mobile devices. Willson received B.Comp Science from Bina Nusantara University – Jakarta.
Daniel Saito, Co-founder at SkySQL and Homerent [Arena Judge]
First introduced to computers at an early age in life at 8 years old — Daniel took a natural affinity towards computers over the years. With his keen technical skills in computers, his past experiences varied from co-founding a Tokyo-based ISP (RIMNET) in the late 90′s to a security research engineer at NTT DoCoMo R&D.
As an entrepreneur, Daniel has played a pivotal role in several startups globally and specifically in Asia. Daniel joined MySQL AB in 2005, recruited as the Representative Director for MySQL K.K. As one of the first employees for MySQL in the APAC region, he was tasked to educate and expand the open source business for the MySQL database.

Prior to joining Multiply.com Daniel was involved in the creation of MTV-Asia in Indonesia, Contestonly.com and Soundbuzz.Com where he introduced Ring Tones, Full Track Downloads and Digital Rights Management to the industry and market.
Daniel served as Director or Marketing and Sales at Universal Music Indonesia, where he introduced the concept of Ring Back Tones. He was also involved in the introduction of the No Frills Flying concept when he launched Air Asia in Indonesia. Daniel also previously headed up the Digital Media team within PT. Djarum and successfully launched and positioned 7Langit as the leading mobile application developer in Indonesia.

Chua Sher Vin, APAC Director for RightScale
Chua Sher Vin is APAC Director for RightScale, a leading multi-cloud management platform. He started out his career as a software engineer working on geographical information systems, before moving on to join Salesforce.com, and Misys Financial Systems.
Today, he is based in Singapore and has also co-founded his own startup; a best deals portal. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Ryu Kawano Suliawan, CEO and co-founder of PT. Midtrans
Ryu Kawano Suliawan is currently the CEO and Co-founder of PT. Midtrans, the operator of Veritrans Indonesia, an online payment processor for the Indonesian market. Midtrans has received funding from the Midplaza Group, Veritrans (Japan’s largest payment gateway and subsidiary of TSE listed Digital Garage), and netprice.com (TSE listed).
Prior to establishing Midtrans, Ryu was an Associate at TPG Capital’s Tokyo office working on investment deals in sectors ranging from financial services, real estate, to technology. Previously, he worked at Lazard Freres & Co.’s San Francisco office as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media, Telecom Group. Ryu was born in Indonesia to an Indonesian Father and a Japanese Mother. He speaks Indonesian, Japanese and English fluently. Ryu holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
